Megatrends are major forces shaping our world. They can be observed in reality, measured and thus backed by verifiable data. By definition, they are big and include some of society's biggest challenges, risks and opportunities.

Three such megatrends affect each other in the cities of our world:

1. population growth/urbanization,
2. digital change, and
3. climate change.

The three megatrends are connected and inter-wined, which also suggests "synergetic" opportunities. Where are patterns of opportunities and where are patterns of unresolved problems?
